Search for a Hyper Energy Bar near me and the map can look more scattered than we actually are. Nineteen stores across four states sounds like a thin spread over the middle of the country. Look closer and the opposite is true: we are clustered into a handful of metros, and if you live in one of them we are probably closer than you think. Three more stores are on the way, too.
Looking for a Hyper Energy Bar near me in the Des Moines area?
Seven of our stores sit in the Des Moines metro, which is more than a third of everything we have. Waukee, West Des Moines, Urbandale, Ankeny, Altoona, Grimes and Norwalk make a ring around the city, so from most suburbs you are not driving across town for us.
Waukee is where it all started in 2021, at 1025 SE Laurel St, Waukee, IA 50263 — you can reach that store at (515) 207-8041. That is also why the ring looks the way it does. We grew outward from our own suburb rather than hopping between cities.
The Kansas City metro crosses a state line
This is the one that trips up a search. We have five stores open around Kansas City, and three of them are on the Kansas side in Johnson County — both Overland Park locations and Olathe. The other two are in Missouri: Belton and Blue Springs.
So if you filter by state instead of by drive time, you can easily miss the closest one. Belton is at 1006 E North Avenue, Belton, MO 64012, on (816) 281-0490, and Blue Springs opens earliest of any store we have, at 5:30 AM Monday through Saturday. Lee’s Summit will make six in this metro once it opens.
Omaha, the Iowa City corridor, Ames and Grand Island
Three of our stores cover the Omaha metro — Omaha itself at 17889 Burke St, Omaha, NE 68118, on (402) 235-9005, plus two in Elkhorn on N 181st and S 205th. Gretna joins them soon.
Two more sit in the Iowa City corridor, in Iowa City and North Liberty. Worth knowing before you go: our Iowa City store is a walk-in counter rather than a drive-thru, and so is Ames, which stands on its own on the Iowa State strip. Grand Island in Nebraska is our one store well outside a metro, about two and a half hours west of Omaha. And Cedar Falls will be our first in the Cedar Valley.
Getting to the Hyper Energy Bar near you
Most of our stores keep the same schedule — 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday. A few are different, and those are the ones to check: Blue Springs opens at 5:30 AM, Iowa City opens at 7:00 AM, and both Iowa City and Ames run 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sundays. Sixteen of our nineteen stores publish their own local number, so you can call the store directly. Every address, every set of hours and every number lives on our store locator.
The menu is the same wherever you land. Over 89 flavors, 34 sugar-free, and more than 100 combinations, with your choice of a caffeine or Italian soda base. Plus, explore our delicious sugar-free options! Build yours from our mix-and-match flavor list, up to three flavors at no extra cost, or order one of our house drinks by name. The coffee menu travels with it, and our seasonal lineup — the fall Hyper Huddle right now — is on the specials page. Frequently Asked Questions
How many stores do you have, and where are they?
Nineteen open across four states — ten in Iowa, four in Nebraska, three in Kansas and two in Missouri — with three more coming soon in Cedar Falls, Gretna and Lee’s Summit. Most of them sit inside a metro area, and our store locator has every address.
Which metro has the most locations?
Des Moines, with seven: Waukee, West Des Moines, Urbandale, Ankeny, Altoona, Grimes and Norwalk. Kansas City is next with five, split across the Kansas and Missouri sides, and the Omaha metro has three.
Are the hours and menu the same at every store?
The menu is, and the hours nearly are. Most open at 6:00 AM Monday through Saturday and 7:00 AM Sunday, closing at 7:00 PM. Blue Springs opens at 5:30 AM, Iowa City at 7:00 AM, and Iowa City and Ames close at 5:00 PM on Sundays. Those two are also walk-in counters rather than drive-thrus.
